Sean Mansfield

Growing up, music and dance has been a big part of Sean's life. Growing up his focus was in street hip-hop dance, but never taking formal lessons. He later took his love for music to become a DJ for skating rinks and clubs while still dancing for fun.
Fast forward years later, Sean joined the United States Army and served as a soldier until 2008 when he fractured his knee and damaged a ligament halting his military career. Then after moving to Florida in 2009, Sean was in a serious car accident in 2012, where he suffered permanent back and spine damage. He had to learn to properly walk again, and was told he would never dance or run again, and he would be lucky if he could walk properly again. After months of rehab, he was finally able to return to work being able to stand on his own. He was not willing to give in to his injury. He continued to rehab his injuries and continued to better himself daily.
Sean then defied the odds when he began his tap career in 2015 as a photographer and videographer for the touring tap dance theater group, “Noise Complaint.” After about a year of working with them at shows and rehearsals, he slowly started tapping. Instantly falling in love with it. He started training and practicing tap non-stop and quickly became one of the core members of Noise Complaint. Touring over the United States, performing in 51 shows in 2019, Sean has quickly excelled in his field.
Now also as a dance teacher, Sean gets to share his love and passion to kids who share his love of dance. He also teaches women's self defense, as well as runs his own professional photography and videography company.
